The 2021 has been a great vintage in the DO RUEDA. The winter has been cold and rainy, likewise the spring was warm giving way to a hot and dry summer. The grape has matured perfectly, reaching a perfect balance of acidity and probable degree.
100% Sauvignon Blanc. Vineyard of 10 hectares planted in 1985 by Aníbal Asensio at an altitude of 800 metres in the Duero river basin, between the villages of Valdestillas and Serrada. Production of 6,000 kilos per hectare.
Fermentation at a low temperature to KEEP all the aromas of the variety. Aging of fine lees for 5 months
Straw yellow in colour, with steely hues and golden tinges, clean and transparent. On the nose we find a good intensity of aromas, appearing at first tropical notes such as mango and pineapple accompanied by slight hints of citrus, and herbaceous details. On the palate the wine is dry, with a good acidity that brings freshness, elegant but nervous. An ideal wine to be served as an aperitif that always pairs wonderfully with seafood
