The 2022 vintage was an excellent vintage in El Valle de La Raja. It was marked by significantly lower yields than usual, rainfall of less than 300 mm, concentrated between March and April, which generated a good vegetative development of the plant, which together with the low yields resulted in high quality grapes, and in the final part of the year. The summer months were warm but with significant fluctuations that generated a staggered ripening of the grapes, resulting in a very long harvest but with excellent ripening rates.

87% Monastrell and 13% Garnacha. We bled the must after two hours in contact with the skins and only from grapes from the young plots surrounding the winery, obtaining approximately 6,000 liters of rosé.
The harvest was carried out manually in 12kg boxes. The Garnacha was harvested on September 9 and the Monastrell on September 12, a couple of weeks ahead of the grapes used to make the red wine.

Bright pale salmon color. It is a modern and gastronomic rosé made with the two varieties that Casa Rojo interprets as the best adapted to the Valley of La Raja for rosé, for its great capacity to develop in such a demanding climate, without losing its freshness and typicity.
Both the Garnacha and the Monastrell, the predominant variety, are bled a few hours after the vatting process to preserve this attractive color and to ensure that their aromas and flavor represent their place of origin.
In tasting, citrus notes predominate on the nose, especially grapefruit, but floral and spicy notes such as fennel also appear. In the mouth, it is voluminous, long and persistent, with a citrus freshness that gives it balance and grapefruit that persists and invites the next sip.
